The Liquid Metals Collection is an updated colour palette for the KYDEX® 110 product portfolio. With inspiration taken from real metals, the Liquid Metals Collection showcases the fluidity, movement, and reflective qualities of burnished metal.
The Liquid Metals Collection is twelve colours that can either stand alone or be paired together in large and trim and finish accents. The collection’s namesake comes from the fluidity seen at the beginning of the manufacturing process, where a liquid substance is turned into a solid thermoplastic sheet. This stays with the sheet as it is enhanced through the thermoforming process.
At KYDEX® Thermoplastics, our designLab® is continually creating new ways for you to express your creativity and receive a sample of your work. Just launched, the Liquid Metals Collection provides refined opportunities in the thermoplastics industry. Usually, the sheet’s unique patina is only associated with fine metals.
We gave our designLab® a mission: to develop a collection that evoked the feeling, patina, and stunning colouration of well-known metals. KYDEX® 110 continues to be the ideal choice for hard-to-form parts where exceptional finished detail is required. It maintains all of its superior physical and mechanical properties including formability, rigidity, chemical resistance, and fire retardancy. This product is UL Std 94 V-0, 5V certified for medical devices and building interior components.
