USA. Bloomsburg, PA—June 5, 2015. — SEKISUI SPI, manufacturer of KYDEX® thermoplastics and ALLEN® thermoplastics, is exhibiting at the MD&M expo in New York City, June 9-11 at the Jacob Javits Center, stand number 1809.
KYDEX® and ALLEN® thermoplastic sheets are UL-rated materials ideal for medical device applications including equipment housings, electrical covers and panels, monitor shrouds, diagnostic imaging enclosures, and hospital bed or furniture components. SEKISUI SPI manufactures solid custom-color and metallic-effect thermoplastic sheet. Molded-in (integral) color and effect thermoplastic parts remove the cost and time of secondary finishing operations thereby requiring little cosmetic maintenance because they are resistant to chipping, cracking, and discoloration.
Stand visitors are invited to be inspired by the advantages of these products for medical devices including high durability and resistance to harsh HAI cleaners. Visitors can choose product samples, watch them come to life as SPI team members thermoform them on the stand, and then take the part home. Members of the company’s design and sales teams will be on site for consultations, demonstrations, and conversation.
